The symposium will provide the educators
and administrators who attend with information about the
special challenges that members of the Guard and Reserves
encounter.

The symposium will also examine the challenges
that Guard members and Reservists encounter when they seek a
degree at a higher education institution.

The INESGR
proposes that citizens of Indiana benefit when our state's
higher education institutions assist those individuals who
have served in our military during the War on Terror.

One
benefit is that these institutions have the satisfaction of
insuring employment for these individuals. A second benefit
is that these institutions have the satisfaction of
educating these individuals, enabling them to obtain a
college degree, and becoming qualified for even better employment
opportunities.

Professionals in higher education who want to
help Guard members and Reservists while they are employees
and/or students in college are welcomed to attend this
symposium.
